Advanced IT and !R Basic module

 Target participants: All PhD students enrolled in University of Ferrara PhD programmes

 Objectives:

• • IT tools for research projects
  • Use of the University VPN
  • Tools for writing scientific publications (LaTeX) and bibliography management
  • Basic concepts of Excel spreadsheets
  • Basic methods for research collaboration and sharing
  • Methods and purposes of the research publication process
  • Quality indicators for research evaluation in Italy 

Important information

• •           The language used for the workshop will be decided with the participants
  •           Participants must bring their own laptop

The course will be held exclusively in person at the IUSS Ferrara 1391 – Corso Porta Mare, 2 - Ferrara. There will be no online lessons.
