3 Credits

The course will be delivered in English.

The course aims to help Ph.D. students organise the rules of text construction that are fundamental for writing an effective, usable and appropriate technical-scientific article. The content will be useful for writing scientific articles, but also proposals, projects, posters, reports and other types of technical texts commonly used in scientific and other fields.

Tips and tricks will be presented on how to use well-known tools more efficiently and effectively, as well as introducing others that could be helpful in the work of Ph.D. students, both inside and outside academia.

Respect to addressing the issue of bibliography, useful ideas will also be given on how to approach scientific literature and build up one's own information base over time.

The course is divided into two modules:

  • Writing skills for papers and more (3 modules of 2 hours online)
