Access to doctoral courses
Access to PhD courses is governed by the “closed number” and is through passing a special selective test.
The University of Ferrara announces 2 different admission competitions:
- one ordinary, including reserved places for students who graduated abroad;
- a specific one for the PhD course in Architecture, activated on the basis of an international agreement with Polis University in Tirana (Albania), in collaboration with the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (SLK) and the University Do Minho (Portugal).
The selections are made by “qualifications and interview” and include the holding of an oral test, after evaluation of the candidate's curriculum.
