The Applied Geology and Hydrogeology curriculum is aimed at developing the following research fields:
  • general and applied hydrogeology with  specific consideration for hydrogeological prospecting and groundwater resources evaluation: assessment of the pollution risk to aquifers and assessment of risk in relation  to anthropic originated impacts and for to contaminant hydrogeology;

  • geological and hydrogeological issues in relation to big civil engineering projects (tunnels, dams, roads);

  •

    applied geology for the assessment and mitigation of landslides risk.
