IUSS Ferrara 1391 hosts cultural initiatives aimed to create moments of aggregation and coviviality.

  • The 21st of May 2014 at IUSS the "Welcome Party" for XXIX° cycle PhD students has been organised. The Rector Prof. Pasquale Nappi, the Director Prof. Roberto Bin have greeted all new students and wished all the best for their Doctorate Researches. In an informal atmosphere, PhD students have met Coordinators, professors and administrative staff.
  • The initiative "MOVIE AT IUSS", screening of an English movie,  was born with the aim to create friendship and conviviality among PhD students and all IUSS friends, and have fun improving the English language. The purpose is to continue to offer events and initiatives designed to make IUSS-Ferrara 1391 the house of all PhD students. We want to thank all PhD students and friends who attended the movie evening at IUSS and all who want to give suggestions for future activities.
  • As part of activities organized by the Department of Human Sciences, IUSS - Ferrara 1391 offers all students opportunities for listening English seminars and with this purpose invites students who participate at the English language courses and all who are interested in.
  • Thanks to "Giorgio Bassani Foundation" and  in occasion of the anniversary of  the famous writer Giorgio Bassani at IUSS-Ferrara 1391 was held a screening of the documentary "Giorgio Bassani", presented by the author Luigi Boneschi.
