Organized by the Institute of Higher Studies IUSS - Ferrara 1391, "I colloqui dello IUSS" are conferences concerning a theme of broad significance, that want to offer to all Phd students and to the city a reflection about scientific, economic and social development.

"The lectures of IUSS" are a opportunity of cultural expansion and social gathering for students, but also as an element of integration between IUSS and the city.
Each year a specific topic is chosen: the 2011/12 is dedicated to the theme “sustainability”.
